We all can be influenced, as human beings, by our environments, and the people within those environments. It feel it is up to the person to form his or her beliefs. Some people become products of their environments, others become products of their own virtue. To say ‘I don’t like Thais’ would be closing my mind to tons of wonderful, virtuous people who happen to be Thai. Just like saying ‘I don’t like farang’ would be closing my mind to many wonderful, virtuous people who happen to be Westerners.

Perhaps the people who close their minds from people different from them, deserve not to meet each due to their narrow-mindedness. With Thailand having such loose immigration, the country lets in some Farang who are not virtuous, who are low-life persons; perhaps this makes some Thais feel better about themselves, and strengthens their belief that they ‘dont like farang’. Such a shame.

The warning I got from my farang friend was “Be careful of Thai guys. They are playboys, not all but most of them.”

He is an American but very used to with Thailand more than I am.

Every county is filled with good and bad. I don’t say all farangs are good or all Thais are bad. But they are all the same. Human being!!

Please understand and pity those ladies who so really adore farangs. They just live in a small world – their own world. Never see things out there and never try to.
